Aerospace Systems Engineer at Astro Tech, Director of Flight Crew Operations at Analog Astronaut Training Center. Former Engineer at European Space Agency. BSc in software engineering, studied aerospace and astronautics at Polish Air Force Academy. Received Copernicus Medal for creating foundations for human spaceflight in Poland and building Lunares habitat – first Moon/Mars analog in Europe. PoSSUM Scientist-Astronaut alumni with advanced courses on ‘spaceflight physiology’, ‘water egress and sea survival’ and ‘Lunar and Martian atmospheric and geological science and EVA tools development’. While at ESA worked on Moon Village concept, habitat design, Lunar EVA procedures, hydroponics and aquaponics, time perception research. Three times analog astronaut (Crew Medical Officer, Executive Officer, ECLSS Engineer), later PI, MCC controller and Capcom for four missions. PPL(A) pilot, PADI Rescue Diver, trained in military combat medicine (TCCC, ACLS). Developing HabitatOS an operating system for extraterrestrial habitats which uses Machine Learning for data analysis and anomaly detection. Consulted 100+ organizations in project management and software engineering. Trained 5k+ people on software engineering. Led project management transformation for Center of Information Technology at Polish Ministry of Interior. Postgraduate diploma in Aerospace Management, Extreme Medicine (expect. June 2019), Applied Geophysics (expected 2019). European Master in Radiation Biology from SCK CEN, Belgium. Author of several books i.e. Python 3: from None to Machine Learning; DevOps and CI/CD; Software systems architecture and development process; Astronaut Selection and Training for Long Duration Spaceflight and Extraterrestrial Activity.
